The B-25 “Old Glory” is one of the most recognized bombers from World War II, primarily known for the “Dolittle Raid” early in the dark days of the conflict. “Old Glory” is a combat veteran which serviced in the Italy theater during the war. Recently “Old Glory” served as the lead aircraft, flying veterans over Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II. Unfortunately, during its return flight, the B-25 was damaged during a forced landing in California. The aircraft is now disassembled and back in Albany ready for the repair and restoration project to begin.
