As for charity events at Hangar 743 in Latham, NY, every year, the stunning Night on the Tarmac Gala fundraiser gives attendees an excuse to dress to the nines while indulging in music, high-end catering, and a silent auction under the stars. Past years have seen Major Heather “Lucky” Penney, the fighter pilot scrambled to down United Airlines Flight 93 on 9/11, as a guest speaker as well as live music. Our 2024 Fashion on the Runway gala included actor Gianni Russo, best known for his role as ‘Carlo’ in the blockbuster The Godfather.
