The Hangar 743 is happy to host private events like weddings and also provide a unique backdrop to events that support the Prescott Foundation mission. Our museum also welcomes small group tours by appointment year-round.
Wings & Wheels
September 13th, 2025
This summertime aviation event at Hangar 743 includes a family-friendly, aviation-themed car show and features local vendors, food, and other entertainment in addition to the aircraft collection, which is on full display. Wings & Wheels is different each year, but past years have featured visits from other warbirds, such as a P-51 Mustang, a WWII airborne demonstration team, and helicopter rides.
Night on the Tarmac 2025

The Prescott Foundation’s Workforce Development Program creates pathways for veterans and others to explore careers in aviation maintenance. Through paid apprenticeship opportunities, participants gain hands on experience and works towards achieving FAA certification. On 6/11/2025 we had our 5th Annual Night on the Tarmac fundraiser. It was such an incredible evening and we are fortunate to have so many people make our event a success.

Veterans Day Kick-Off Celebration

This event is proudly hosted by The Hangar 743 to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Guests will enjoy live music, great food, drinks, and meaningful connection—all while raising funds for the Veterans Miracle Center (VMC) and supporting Hangar 743 programs that serve veterans year-round.
Other Events
As an event venue, The Hangar at 743 has also hosted several weddings, retirement parties, corporate events, a high school prom, and the Capital Region Living “Bestie” Awards.
